I believe my asking you to start blogging was a huuuuuuugggeeee mistake. You are taking a huge chunk out of LJ's data servers :D... Juz kiddin... Nice to see you making huge posts, though I'm a bit pressed for time to read them.

"quite adventurous..that is,I am game to try new stuff..as
long as the food is made from "stuff" that has never moved on its own"

Hehe... You should give self mobile "stuff" a chance too you know. But I guess now ain't a good time with the flu runnin around n all.

I had been to Davanagere sometime back and I asked an auto driver there - "Is there anything famous in Davanagere?" Without even thinking for a second, he replied - "Benne Dhose". I asked - "No no, I am asking if there are any tourist spots nearby". He replied, as if what I was telling made no sense to him - "No places, only Benne Dhose. Tamilnadu Prime Minister Karunanidhi always has Benne Dhose when he comes here". I tried hard to convince him that I was looking for some visitable places and also Karunanidhi was the CM, and not PM - but I failed miserbly!
But, eating 'Benne Dhose' there, watching the beautiful medical girls walk by, "Swargakke kichchu hachchendha Sarvagnya" :)

Superb! Give me directions to Magge. I will go and settle there...

1)eating
2)gossiping/flashbacks
3)lying around...
This has to be the case not only during get-togethers...but always! :D

I would scare my cousins by telling them that if they swallow the seeds, they would have a water melon
tree going in their stomach...or have competition abt who would eat the moon-shaped watermelon pieces leaving no red bits!
Haha! I believed the tree in the stomach story when I was very young. Ayyo! I used to finish the watermelons leaving no white bits even! :D
